I might be in a slump.
I don’t know if it’s just the period tapering off, or maybe I need a new med combo. It could be the weather. It could be because Mercury’s in retrograde and my ability to communicate seems to have been impeded. I don’t know.
I rely a lot on productivity apps and methods to keep my life in check – a few days ago, I thought I lost my notebook. I had a mini anxiety attack. Which is ridiculous, but it makes me realise how much I rely on these things.
Today’s post is mostly about productivity, so I’ll show you a few things that I love:
Ryder Caroll’s bullet journal system changed my life. That being said, this notebook makes me happy. You don’t need a fancy notebook, but this one is a delight to cart around and write in. I get mine from Stickerrific, and I occasionally work out of there. The cats are a bonus.
I don’t know how many of these I have, but I love them. The fine tip works as a pen, which I use for reminders and the brush tip doubles up as a highlighter (even though I own a ton of highlighters.
Washi tape, or paper tape is two things: pretty, and doesn’t mark the things I own. I own way too many rolls (and I just found out there’s an expiry date) but since my notebook doubles up as an art journal and scrapbook – it’s good to tape down notes, and whatever else I want to keep.
I got my first fountain pen recently, and I’m pretty much in love with it. The one to the right is in Christmas Green but mine’s turquoise. Smooth writing, and it doesn’t take too much getting used to. My current inks are from J.Herbin and the Pilot Iroshizuku line.
